On the occasion of International Women’s Day, ANU – Museum of the Jewish People  hold an evening in honor of Dr. Orly Tzarfati’s book:

Women of Protest: The Struggle of Haredi Women for Political Representation

Moderator: Efrat Shukrun

A conversation with Dr. Orly Tzarfati and Rabbi Adina Bar-Shalom.

Screening from Anna Somershaf’s film, “Women of Valor – the story of Esty Shushan, the founder of the “No Voting, No Running” protest.

A panel discussion with Rabbi Adina Bar-Shalom (Israel Prize laureate), Helen Mazouz (the first Haredi woman elected to a city council), and Racheli Ibenboim (entrepreneur and social activist).

At 17:00, a guided tour will be held in the museum, focusing on women trailblazers.
