Thursday, 14.8.25 at 19:00

Prof. Shimon Yakerson presents his new book, “The Wonderful Adventures of Jewish Manuscripts,” and shares the challenging experience of composing a light reading text on such a serious topic.

Prior to the book launch, a guided tour in Russian will be held, including a visit to the Codex Sassoon Gallery, which holds the oldest, most complete Hebrew Bible.

Professor Shimon Yakerson is a Doctor of Philosophy and Literature, an independent researcher, historian, orientalist, and expert on medieval Jewish manuscripts.
