You are invited to meet Alexander Roitman on the occasion of his new book, “Jews of Bessarabia: Who Are They?”, dedicated to the Jewish history and heritage of one of Eastern Europe’s most distinctive and multifaceted regions.

Diplomat and researcher Alexander Roitman, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Israel, recounts the history, contribution, and identity of Bessarabia’s Jewish population, who had an impact on Jewish culture in the diaspora.

Special guest: violinist Sanya Kroytor.
