Two Years Since October 7th – From Rachel’s Robe to the Camera Lens

Tuesday, 30.9.25 at 19:00 // Past Event

On the two-year anniversary of the war’s outbreak, that morning of horrors, when we were all shaken, stricken by depths of pain while also witnessing acts of heroism – we will be holding a special event at the “October Seventh” exhibition. This exhibition explores the response of Israeli culture to the war.

You are invited to meet with artist Andi Arnovitz, whose work “A Robe for Rachel” was recently added to the exhibition and hangs from the ceiling at the center of the space. The event also includes a talk with Avishag Shar-Yishuv (in Hebrew), a photojournalist whose images document the horrors of the war and its people.

Host: Michal Houminer, curator at ANU – Museum of the Jewish People.

The ticket includes entry to the October Seventh exhibition and the entire museum.

The event will be documented, you may appear in the recordings. By attending, you are granting your permission for us to use this footage.
