A summer of photography and creativity at ANU - Museum of the Jewish People. Learn about the world of photography.
A family summer activity that places you in focus - smartphone photography workshops with artist and photographer Liron Breier Danziger, an encounter with the world of photography through actors portraying famous figures in Jewish history, a fascinating journey among exhibits, and more.
During the last two weeks of August (August 17-28), the museum will hold extensive photography activities that allow for learning about different perspectives and the power of the visual medium by focusing on the extraordinary story of the Jewish people.
Actors throughout the museum will portray famous Jewish figures from various fields, offering visitors a glimpse into different viewpoints through the exhibits themselves - perspective, distance from the subject, use of backgrounds, and the like. Children and parents will be invited on a route among the exhibits and characters, enriching their understanding of the world of photography through these unique figures.
Activity is suitable for children aged 6-12 accompanied by an adult | Children up to age 5 – free admittance. The activities are held in Hebrew.

The Heroes Gallery operates in fixed 1.5-hour time slots. Kindly book a ticket for your desired slot. The ticket is also valid for all other museum areas.

A New Kind of Tour
A unique, and intriguing experience for children and the whole family, following small objects and exhibits from the museum's collection with grand stories spanning the globe! Led by a professional actress from the Jerusalem Aspaklaria Theater.
Fridays at 10:30 | 12:00 (until August 29). For children aged 6 to 9.
Visitors are invited to explore the museum's various exhibits independently before and after the activity.
