The exhibition 20&20: A Lens of Her Own was recently opened at ANU – Museum of the Jewish People, showcasing various women photographers (for full details, click here).
This summer, you are invited to “A Lens of Our Own” – a photography activity for the whole family that combines creativity, curiosity, knowledge, inspiration, and many wonderful additions for your phone’s photo gallery.
Artist Liron Breier Danziger will lead a photography workshop (three times daily) where you can learn basic smartphone photography principles in an interactive and enjoyable way, including composition, light, perspective, and more. At the end of the workshop, you’ll receive a mission sheet for an independent photo journey throughout the museum. You’ll meet actors who will reveal the stories behind the exhibits, allowing you to photograph and apply what you’ve learned.
Among the characters you’ll encounter are Haim Weitz, better known as Gene Simmons, lead singer of KISS; the biblical Ruth; musician Zohra Al Fassiya; and more.
The photos you take will be displayed on a screen at the museum.
