The exhibition "In the Footsteps of Columbus" is the outcome of a research project executed by Dr. Kenneth Libo who brought together thousands of items in a two year period. The exhibition comprises hundreds of photographs, objects, documents and paintings organized into the following sections: The First Generations, 1654-1830; The German Immigrants, 1830-1880; and Community Life. The book is full of illustrated and photographed and encompasses the lives of Jews belonging to various social classes.
